This program introduces children to the love and benefits of gardening through hands on teaching, crafting and through many more techniques that engage children of all ages.
Our Strawberry Sprouts program combines planting, tending and harvesting with creative play and modalities of learning. Our Strawberry Sprouts get a firsthand look at the wonders of nature as each season unfolds. Our Strawberry Sprouts are broken down into to age groups. Our Mini Strawberry Sprouts are from ages 4 thru 7 years old. Our Strawberry Sprouts are from ages 8 thru 12 years old.
Mini Strawberry Sprouts- ages 4-7: Our Mini Sprouts work together in small groups to care for plots, plant seeds, participate in scavenger hunts, crafting, creating delicious recipes and other educational activities. This is an age group that is fun and we want to encourage learning in a way that leaves an impression on them for a lifetime. Mini Sprouts grow with us!
Strawberry Sprouts- ages 8-12: Our Strawberry Sprouts help with tasks such as seeding, weeding, harvesting, scavenger hunts and cooking. The Strawberry Sprouts also learn about conservation, recycling, soil and composting. The lessons that the Strawberry Sprouts learn will give them knowledge that will motivate them to be more creative and healthy.
