DESCRIPTION:This is a free event open to all ages! \nThe beautiful Monarch butterfly migrates across the country in massive numbers annually and many of these captivating insects call Florida home for most of the year. Unfortunately changes in climate and habitat loss are threatening their existence. \nOur Master Gardener\, Kim will educate visitors on the growth stages of the Monarch and the plants that are required to sustain and house them at each step of their growth. \nVolunteers will help to plant Milkweed and other flowering plants to attract pollinators to our garden and yours! \nThis is an outdoor event. We recommend drinking plenty of water the day before this event so you are hydrated. Wear light clothing to stay cool and sunblock to protect yourself from the sun.
